Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex | Montana
By horse or by backpack, explore these 1.5 million acres (607,000 hectares) of roadless, wild nature. Forty-five outfitting businesses provide backcountry adventures under Forest Service permit. The complex includes three separate wilderness areas—the Great Bear, the Bob Marshall, and the Scapegoat.
The Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex is located in Northwestern Montana and is on the ancestral lands of the Blackfeet Peoples to the east and the Salish and Kootenai Peoples on the west.
