Ages Festival is Appropriate For
Celebrate 33rd Anniversary of the Cranbrook ProRodeo. Professional riders in saddle bronc and bare-back events, bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, rodeo clowns, cow milking and trick riders. A dance is held on Saturday evening, refreshment garden every day and a church service on Sunday.

The rodeo is sanctioned by the Canadian Professional Cowboys Association and it attracts professional competitors from throughout the United States and Canada. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the facility and to provide an opportunity for people of all ages to experience an event that includes great athletes (human and animal), and a chance to learn and appreciate a true western lifestyle. The event is held at the Wycliffe Exhibition Grounds and is set in a treed area which is in itself very beautiful. There is a large outdoor arena, covered grandstand, an indoor pavilion, racetrack, camping area and lots of great room to unwind and enjoy the mountains. The setting is relaxing until the rodeo begins, then it becomes an exciting and wonderful place.
