Highlights of Shopping Offerings

Hi-Country Trading Post epitomizes the rugged back-country style of the first trading posts used by hunters and trappers. The trading post contains the wild-west history of the area, which showcases what it was like to live in this raw, natural country. Visitors, young and old will be amazed at the museum of artifacts. The store itself show-cases "Made In Montana" products, which includes everything from tantilizing huckleberrry products (a regional tasty delight!) to local artists pieces that feature their interpretation of what Montana is really about: its magnificent mountains, streams and animals. Hi-Country is known for its jerky-products and taste-testing is encouraged! Hi-Country sponsors the 'Race to the Sky' as a start and finish location and aids in celebrating Montana's Iditarod Qualifying 350 mile Dog Sled Race.
