A 100-year-old hand hewn log homestead house with original fir wood floors is the basis for Inn Dupuyer Bed and Breakfast. Couple the historical nature of the accommodations with the supurb care the inn-keepers provide and you've got a winning combination. Priding themselves on helping their guests feel welcome and at home, Joe and Rita offer a hearty, delicious breakfast, a self service beverage bar with instant hot water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and an espresso machine. Just in case you need a refrigerator, there's one available for guest use.
There are five guest rooms in unique individual period decor, each with private baths. The guest room on main floor is handicapped accessible. There are a variety of inviting, relaxing common areas throughout the house. The Pishkun Dining Room also serves as a library with local history and photographs of The Big Sky Country and the formal parlor has a piano and guitar, a love seat couch and reclining wing back chairs. Upstairs, the Cougar's Den sitting room has a TV, with videos of the area, and a Franklin fireplace that adds to the comfortable, rustic atmosphere. For guests that like a little extra intrigue, board games, puzzles and books are available. Outside porches with comfortable furniture are another good place to relax on a nice day.
Inn Dupuyer Bed & Breakfast is located in Dupuyer, Montana, about 1.5 hours to/from Great Falls, It is along the Trail of the Great Bear which reaches from Mexico to Canada through the US, commonly known as Highway 89. You'll find the place one block west of the Highway (toward the mountains) in the middle of town.
