See Glacier Park the green way! Moss Mountain Inn is a small eco-bed and breakfast on the western boundary of Glacier National Park, a wild setting with beautiful scenery.

All four double-occupancy guest rooms have a private bath. Two third floor suites include balconies overlooking the mountains of Glacier, and a third room on the first floor has a private entrance through our passive solar greenhouse and accommodates pets. Full breakfast with main dish, pastries, fruit and granola is served on the second floor overlooking a wild bird habitat and pond.

Moss Mountain Inn is located on a scenic byway passing through the Flathead National Forest into Glacier National Park, one mile from the Glacier Rim access to the North Fork of the National Wild and Scenic Flathead River. It's only a short drive to the western entrance to the park and numerous river accesses, about fifty miles south of the Canadian border.

Moss Mountain Inn's six acres has been designated a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. As long-time residents and wilderness adventurers, they offer expert advice on all types of outdoor activities. They also operate a fully organic vegetable and herb garden and a wild bird habitat.

Driving Directions

From West Glacier: Exiting the park, turn right onto Highway 2, then right on Lake Five Road. At the first stop sign the road will fork, go left. Bear right at the first fork. This is Blankenship Road but there is no street sign. When Blankenship Road ends at North Fork Road, turn right. Moss Mountain Inn is 1/2 mile on the right, 200 yards past mile marker 10.

From Glacier Park International Airport in Kalispell: Turn left exiting the airport onto Highway 2. At the first stoplight turn right. Go into the town of Columbia Falls and turn left (north) on Nucleus Avenue, right on Railroad Street (which is North Fork Road, aka County Road 486.). Go ten miles. We are 200 yards past mile marker 10 on the right.
