In the rolling foothills of southwest Alberta, nestled close to the base of the Livingstone Mountain Range (part of the Rocky Mountains) is a working cattle ranch to which guest accommodations have been added.
The ranch was bought in 1979 and ran as a cow/calf operation year round. We also bought yearlings in the spring and sold them in the fall due to our grazing permit in the Bow-Crow Forest Reserve with the North Fork Livestock Association. At present day we lease about 800 acres along with what we have here at the ranch and run yearlings on that lease land. The yearlings are moved due to grazing rotations of the grasslands and as we already had the guest ranch up and running we decided to incorporate giving guests the opportunity to join in on some "cowboy fun".
Both Randy and I were born and raised on ranches ... we love sharing the western heritage and our way of life with guests from around the world.
We are located approximately 100 miles south of Calgary on Hwy #22 - The Cowboy Trail. Located 18 km north of Lundbreck on Hwy # 22 - The Cowboy Trail.
