Highlights of this National Park or Protected Area
Along the Going to the Sun Road, make sure to stop at the Goose Island overlook for a classic view of St. Mary Lake and the mountains of Glacier.
For a family friendly hike, the 1.7 mile round trip to St. Mary Falls makes for a pleasant morning or afternoon.
For a more strenuous day or overnight trip, take the 10.8 mile round trip hike to Lake Otokomi.
For wildlife and plant lovers, pull off at Two Dog Flats. The area where the prairie meets the mountains provides a unique ecosystem providing a greater diversity of species.
