Take a Guided Horseback Ride | Glacier National Park, Montana
Many visitors don't know that Glacier National Park was one of the first parks to be designed for tourism on the back of a horse. You can ride in one of three historic locations inside the Park: Apgar, Lake McDonald and Many Glacier, or at the West Glacier Corral just outside the Park's west entrance. The trails were designed to give visitors a "different" perspective. Rides are offered from 1 hour to all day, with cowboy cookout dinner rides and overnight trips offered exclusively at the West Glacier Corral.
