Tupelo Grille | Whitefish, Montana
Delicious Continental- inspired cuisine, carefully prepared and presented, in a comfortable and unpretentious atmosphere. Considered a do-not-miss by many Whitefish, Montana locals.
Driving Directions
On the north end of Central Avenue in downtown Whitefish.
Housed in two adjoining downtown Whitefish buildings, the Tupelo Grille is actually three small rooms, each with its own special feel. Although the style is best described as Continental, house specialties tend toward Southern and Cajun influences. Chef- owner Pat Carloss is from Louisiana, and many family recipes have found their way into Tupelo's repertoire. The fresh fish special is always a sound choice, but Low Country Shrimp and Grits, and Chicken and Dumplings have a stalwart following. Classics like Chicken Marsala, Filet of Beef with a Port Demi-Glace, and Herb-Crusted Rack of Lamb make it hard to choose. But leave room for dessert- the seductive Bread Pudding is a closely held secret recipe that has become famous far and wide.
